I have a passion for developing and growing consumer brands. This stems from my experience as an entrepreneur building my own food brand, personally experiencing the highs and lows inherent in a brand’s lifecycle. And most recently, guiding international organizations as they navigate the complex U.S. marketplace.
In 2010, I founded Allgood Provisions, a venture-backed, mission-driven organic snack food brand that grew to become a well-known brand with thousands of retail clients and a strong D2C base. Allgood was purchased by a private consumer goods conglomerate in 2018.
After building and scaling Allgood Provisions, I focused my time on working with large food corporations such as Bumble Bee Seafoods and Tyson Foods. I led teams in developing innovative products, such as alternative proteins and plant-forward meal options. My valuable time and learning at these corporations have helped shape my expertise and skills in the industry.
Most recently, I worked as an International Strategic Advisor for the country of New Zealand, where I leveraged my extensive experience and network to assist food and beverage brands in developing their U.S. market entry and growth strategies. During this time, I was exposed to the unique challenges and opportunities international consumer brands face in North America. I also learned the value of “Manaaki,” the Maori word meaning “to show generosity, hospitality, and respect to others, and to support their well-being.”
I live in Dallas, Texas, with my wife, Susan, and our dog Captain. We enjoy spending our free time outdoors, traveling, and cooking delicious meals together.
